VirtualBox Linux - How to add vboxguestadditions.iso

Share |
If you use VirtualBox but you don't have the vboxguestadditions.iso for your virtual machine, you can download it from here:

Version 3.x
http://goo.gl/8j11M

Version 2.x
http://goo.gl/Bcg7V

Rename the file to VBoxGuestAdditions.iso and copy it to the /usr/share/virtualbox folder. (Ubuntu, Debian)
Change the permissions so normal users can access the iso.
Now you can install the Guest Additions in Virtual Box from the Devices/Install Guest Additions menu.
Good luck! :)

note: if there is a new version of Virtual Box, just replace the version in the url.Newer versions normally contain the vboxguestadditions.iso file.
