Waiting for HTC Hero 2.1 Update 3 (UK)? Wait a bit more

As we could all guessed by now 3 (UK) delayed the HTC Hero 2.1 Android update yet again. The Android 2.1 update for the Hero was due yesterday but according to the Moderator's comment on the 3 (UK) blog (17 Aug 2010) it is now expected "this time next week, if not earlier".

Here is the full comment from the 3 (UK) blog:

"@ all awaiting 2.1 Éclair update for the HTC Hero – I’m sorry I’ve been quiet on this topic, I’ve been awaiting news to update you all. The Three team has spoken to HTC and we are expecting it this time next week, if not earlier. I will post as and when I get updates."

And we all thought that the update is with Google under approval.

3 used to be the cheapest provider with good customer care.Now,it's gettin worse and worse.Maybe they've chaged their owner?
